Dear Colleagues,
What started as a Jordanian dream at the First Conference of the Jordanian Women Physicians has blossomed into a regional aspiration, embodying our vision for intellectual modernization and empowering women in leadership roles within the professional sphere.
In November 2021, we launched this pioneering event, addressing medical topics beyond traditional frameworks and including public awareness sessions for both medical professionals and the general public. The conference was charged with positive energy and marked by unprecedented success, becoming a milestone in our region.
Following this triumph, our dream expanded from a national to an Arab vision. The First Conference of the Arab Women Physicians, held in October 2022, was a showcase of unparalleled creativity and excellence in scientific, administrative, and artistic domains. We aim to take this initiative across the Arab world, God willing.
In recognition of these efforts, we established the Pan Arab Women Physicians Association (PAWPA), the first of its kind in the Arab world. This association aims to strengthen social bonds among Arab women doctors, enhance medical and training cooperation, exchange expertise and knowledge, and elevate the standards of our medical field.
Additionally, it focuses on raising community health awareness and enhancing primary healthcare to alleviate the burden on the healthcare sector.
As we proudly celebrate this groundbreaking achievement, the establishment of the Pan Arab Women Physicians Association (PAWPA), we also congratulate our sister nation, Kuwait, for hosting the Second Conference of the Pan Arab Women Physicians Association and initiating the First Conference of the Kuwaiti Women Physicians. We wish them great success and distinction in their endeavors.
